Is this for me?

This program is designed for people who have 3+ years experience working in a position that requires excellent customer service skills. Examples include high-end retail, waitpersons, and real estate agents.

  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • A hunger to become a tech sales rep
  • Good people skills
  • Your own laptop/computer with solid internet
  • 4 hours of time per week for training, coaching, and completing tasks, beginning in August 2023

It's a three-month training program that is comprehensive without being too dense.

Month  One

  1. Tech Sales Process
  2. Manage Your Emotions
  3. Identify Good Prospects
  4. Work with the Tools
Training Sessions Include:
  • Intro to how sales works in tech (functions, roles, $$)
  • Moving prospects into leads, leads into opportunities, opportunities into customers
  • Realistic expectations and managing your emotions/mental state
  • WHY customers buy (EQ and BANT)
  • How to identify a good prospect for anyone, and then for Cultivate Empathy
  • How to profile an account
  • How to build leads Lists 

Haands-on Practice and Coaching:
  • Create a menu of activities to manage your emotions
  • Build a list of 25 people to reach out to (DON’T SEND THE EMAILS YET)
  • Write down what you think they will want to buy from Cultivate Empathy

  • Using Social Selling Realistically

  • Update your LinkedIn profile
  • Write a social selling message
  • Record your elevator pitch 
  • Create an email template

  • Securing the meeting, then confirming it w/agenda
  • Building rapport with prospects
  • Moving from a meeting to opportunity
  • Review dead prospects

Haands-on Practice and Coaching:
  • What needs to change: targets, vibe, and/or gives 
  • Does your profile look real? Do you sound engaging? 
  • How to sell yourself in an interview
